Before content floods in endlessly, I should claim the languages that are still empty

After watching the 30 minutes it took to post one article shrink to almost nothing, I felt I should claim a place in the languages where AI adoption lags, before content floods in endlessly. And I felt this wasn't something to put off, but something to do right away.

When 30 minutes becomes zero

Yesterday I automated uploading to my Naver blog right up to saving the draft. I wrote up the process in the previous post. A job that took over 30 minutes for one post a day now comes down to checking it and pressing publish.

The thought it gave me was simple. If I can do this, so can others. Plenty of people are probably doing it already. Once the time it takes to make one post approaches zero, the amount of posts appearing becomes practically unlimited.

In an endless race, coming late is a disadvantage

When content pours out without limit, it gets harder and harder to earn a place in it. Posts that appeared first and piled up, and channels that got known first, keep the advantage. Latecomers who pour in the same amount still struggle to get past what has already accumulated.

That's why I thought timing mattered. Many people have already started. But as a share of everyone, it's still not high. Before everyone starts, I felt now is still a time when you can get in.

When Situation
Now Many have started, but as a share of everyone it's still small
A little later Everyone floods out content with automation. Finding a new place gets much harder

Where it's still empty

So where should I claim a place? What came to mind was the languages where AI adoption is late.

In languages where AI-made content is already growing fast, I think the competition has begun. In languages where AI adoption is late, on the other hand, there is still little content in that language at all. If I lay down content there before it fills up, then when competition starts in that language later, I'll already be out in front.

In the end it's the same story: being in before the endless competition starts. In Korean it may already be getting late, but in other languages that moment may not have arrived yet.

Why I felt I had to start right away

The order this thought came in mattered. The tool came first, and then I saw the opportunity.

Since the cost of writing and posting has dropped close to zero, adding one more language is no longer the big job it used to be. For the same reason, it soon won't be a big job for anyone else either. It's something that gets easier for everyone over time, so the longer I wait, the less it means.

So I felt I shouldn't keep mulling it over, but act right away. Which language to start with, on what topics, and where to build it up, I haven't decided yet. When I do, I'll record that here too.
